About the NICEIC

Raising Electrical Standards

ElectricGatesUK through it's parent company Eastfield Technical Services is regulated by the NICEIC a wholly owned subsidiary of the Electrical Safety Council.

NICEIC acts as the electrical contracting industry’s independent regulatory body for electrical installation safety matters throughout the UK. It undertakes regular audits of members to ensure that the highest possible electrical safety standards are maintained, including the national electrical safety standard BS 7671 and the IEE Wiring Regulations.

NICEIC employs more than 70 full-time area engineers across the UK to make annual visits to registered contractors assessing their technical capability and inspecting samples of their work.
